I have worked in various parts of the mental health field for over 18 years. My practice is in downtown Portland Oregon . I use a warm, humorous, common-sense, eclectic approach based on the particular problems my clients present.

I use a holistic approach, focusing on my client's unique individual strengths to build self-reliance and confidence in a safe, supportive environment. Some clients come to me simply to get "unstuck". Other clients are unhappy with long-term patterns of self-defeating behaviors that require more long-term treatment. For short-term work, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Hypnotherapy. For longer-term problems I use a Psychodynamic, Object Relations approach.
